What do you do with all of these internet marketing tools.

There will come a time, after you have been bombarded with a ton of sales pitches, and you finally gave in to purchase a few.

The next question that will pop into your mind will be, ‘What do I do with all these tools, that I’ve purchased?”

Well, If your like me, you will probably sit on them for a while, trying to decide whether it was worth spending all that money.

If your lucky, you will not be wasting any more money doing just that.
Most marketing tools will cost you a pretty penny, or become worthless over time, if you just sit on them, while you think about how much money you saved.

Its not always good to save money, if you do not plan to utilize it right away. Part of business growth is to create more effective tools, to sell to your buyers.

Dang but thats the sorry truth.

Here is a basic set of tools you should be using:
Your own computer, if your working from a friends, libraries, computer, you will be wasting precious time. If your serious about making a big change, time is you most valuable commodity. Computers are cheap these days.

An ability to generate splash pages, or lead pages. These are fast loading pages, designed to entice someone to do a particular action, whether its to go to the real page that has more information, or a product you are selling.

A graphics program to help you design headers, banners, and edit any photos you would like to display. Create your own banners, and if you learn how to make them, you will be viewed as original, and generate your own reputation. Think of this in your own mind. if you saw the same banner every day, on several sites, and you viewed it once already, or several times, would you click on it to see what it was about?

Those are the basics.

The advanced tools you will require for internet marketing:
A Domain, gives you the ability to sell your own branding. Think of Ford, Chevy, they are all brand names. To be effective over a long term, you must brand yourself.

A place to host your pages, commonly known as a web host provider. Gives you the independant tracking ability. The ability to control your content.

An Autoresponder, Will enhance your abilities as an online marketer by automating the mundane tasks of either sending out invoices, notifying readers that you have new content on your site, places you in a spot to create newsletters, or inform about new products, services. Automating your sales letters.

Scripts and
Plugins for automating some of the work on your website or blog.

Plugins will automate a lot of wordpress features such as updating your sitemap.xml file, or your robots.txt file. Scripts ad features to your site, that would normally take hours to edit, such as ad rotators, rss feed links, posts, or making a store available where you can sell your own products.

Becoming an Internet Marketer is not an easy task by no means.
But with these basics in mind, you will be off to a good start.
